On March 22, the School of Health Sciences and Public Health of the University of Georgia hosted the public lecture "What We Need to Know about Mental Health”, conducted by the specialist of mental health Mr. Giorgi Donadze. During the lecture speaker discussed such topics of mental health, as definition of the mental health, general facts and myths about mental health; Historical perspectives; Main types of psychological disorders; Bio-psycho-social model; Mental health statistics; Sensitivity to the involvement of the mind in the process of body cure, etc. The lecture was attended by the students and representatives of the academic faculty of the University of Georgia. At the end of the lecture Mr. Giorgi answered the questions of attendees.
