Our traditions continue to evolve with time, embracing new people and new ideas, while their central purpose remains unchanged: to create a space where people come together, ideas emerge freely, and everyday university life becomes a shared experience.
The literary competition Folio brings together authors, readers, and literature enthusiasts, creating an opportunity for new texts and emerging voices to be discovered within the University community.
The competition contributes to the development of contemporary literary culture, gives emerging authors an opportunity to share their work, and creates a space where words, ideas, and creative freedom come together.
Every year, Folio returns with new stories, authors, and perspectives, gradually becoming one of the distinctive literary traditions of the University of Georgia.

Every year, on November 17, the University of Georgia marks Tolerance Week - an initiative dedicated to embracing differences, equality, and mutual respect.
The week brings together students and members of the University community and creates a space for dialogue on issues that shape a culture of coexistence in a diverse society.
It is a tradition that reminds us that a university is more than a place for acquiring knowledge. It is also a space where we learn to listen to one another, embrace different perspectives, and come together around shared values.
