Crypto Day - Conference

On February 11 at 11:00 AM, Crypto Day will be held at the University of Georgia, under the leadership of Vakhtang Chkhenkeli.

The “Crypto Day” Conference aims to create a professional platform to discuss the regulation of the crypto-asset market, practical mechanisms of asset tokenization, their integration into the Georgian financial ecosystem, and the regulatory framework that ensures market development and transparency.

The conference will consist of six panels:

  • The evolution of the global and Georgian crypto industry;
  • Tokenization of real estate, bank deposits, and financial instruments in Georgia;
  • The new Georgian legislative framework for virtual assets and recent amendments;
  • Prudential obligations, capital requirements, and segregation of crypto assets for virtual asset service providers;
  • The EU Regulation on Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) and its impact on the crypto industry;
  • Fiscal policy, virtual asset services, and taxation in Georgia.
