Organized by the Psychological Services and Analytics Center “Contact,” a public lecture was held in the conference hall of Georgian University on the topic: “Psychology of Child Testimony.”
During the lecture, students received information about the standards that must be considered when a child appears in court as a witness. The lecture covered the protection of children’s rights during their questioning, the reliability of information obtained from children, and shared European experiences on these issues. It also addressed the prevention of violence against children during their role as witnesses.
The lecture was delivered by Tamta Saamishvili, co-founder of the "Applied Psychology and Research Center" and psychologist.
