EUfactcheck.eu is an educational and journalistic project implemented by the European Journalism Training Association (EJTA), aimed at developing students’ fact-checking skills and improving media quality. For the fifth consecutive year, students from the University of Georgia’s Journalism and Strategic Communications programs have been actively participating in the project. Under the guidance of mentors, they prepare blog posts and publish them on the platform.
Participation in this international project supports the development of students’ practical skills in writing, analysis, working with sources, and fact-checking. It also fosters their commitment to journalistic ethics, provides valuable international experience, and enhances their competitiveness in the job market.
