The School of Social Sciences at the University of Georgia, supported by NATO’s Liaison Office (NLO), held its second annual international conference on October 5:
“Georgia in the Military Prism of the West and Russia.”
During the online conference, key regional and international security issues were discussed, including:
NATO-Georgia relations: membership, military interoperability, and Article 5.
Russia and the South Caucasus: military deployments, risks of escalation, and options/opportunities for de-escalation.
Military and political aspects of Black Sea security.
