NATO/PfP Trust Fund

As part of NATO Days, an Open Day event was held for students, organized by the LEPL NATO and EU Information Center and the NATO Liaison Office, within the framework of the NATO Trust Fund project – Georgia 4. The event took place in Skra, Gori District.

This was the fourth project under the NATO/PfP Trust Fund.

Project goal: To involve Georgia in demining operations carried out by NATO in the Skra area. The project focused on clearing the village of remnants of explosive military stockpiles left from the 2008 war.

During the event, students had the opportunity to learn about the project’s purpose, goals, and activities. Representatives from the engineering unit and the “Delta” group provided detailed information to the participants, after which students were able to observe and engage directly in practical activities.
