On March 19-20, for the first time in Georgia, a PRathon will be held, organized by the University of Georgia and GEPRA Consulting Agency.
The goal of the PRathon is for participants to create a communication campaign using key social media techniques.
Each participating team will have 24 hours to complete the assignment.
Participants will gain practical experience and test their skills in one of the most dynamic areas of strategic communication.
Participation is open to students of the University of Georgia enrolled in the following programs:
Strategic Communication
Journalism
Business Administration
After registration, participants will attend a series of online lectures, providing them with the knowledge needed to develop their campaign.

Updates on planned activities will be published on the websites of the University of Georgia, GEPRA, and the Niko Nikoladze Prize.
The PRathon will be held at the University of Georgia.
On the first day, March 19, selected participants will be grouped into teams. Each team must consist of no more than 4 members.
Awards and Prizes
Main Prize – Niko Nikoladze Prize
1st Place – 1,200 GEL
2nd Place – 800 GEL
3rd Place – 500 GEL
Additional Prize – Sponsored by Insurance Company Ardi
The winning team (1st place) will receive a one-year health insurance package (“Vitamins”) from Ardi Insurance for each team member.
The PRathon will start on Friday, March 19 at 10:30 AM and will end on March 20.
Throughout the 24-hour project, participants will work on their campaigns with mentorship from Natia Glonti, a lecturer at the University of Georgia's School of Social Sciences.
