Students of the Strategic Communications program participated in PR Arena — an international student competition organized with the support of EUPRERA, GWPR – Global Women in PR Romania, and the University of Bucharest, in partnership with the European Broadcasting Union. The competition aimed to foster students’ professional development through working on a real brief, collaborating in a multicultural environment, and planning modern PR strategies.
As part of the competition, participating teams were tasked with developing a communication campaign to promote the Eurovision Song Contest, focusing on increasing engagement with the Generation Z audience. The students carried out the following tasks:
Analyzing the real brief
Studying the target audience and defining positioning
Developing creative ideas and digital strategies
Presenting final decisions in a presentation format before an international jury
Notably, students from Georgia University secured first and second places in the competition, demonstrating their professional readiness, high-level practical skills, and ability to work on contemporary communication challenges according to international standards.
