As part of the partnership and cooperation memorandum signed between Bielefeld University and the University of Georgia, on April 22, 2024, Bielefeld University hosted Kote Ioseliani, a lecturer from the School of Social Sciences.
The lecture, held in the university’s public space, focused on one of the most pressing and timely issues in contemporary Georgia – “The Backsliding of Democracy in Georgia.”
The event serves as another clear example of how academic partnerships between Georgia and Germany foster the exchange of ideas and the deepening of free academic thought.
