On July 1–2, 2024, the School of Social Sciences at the University of Georgia, in cooperation with the Center for Security, Policy, and Nationalism Studies (UGSPN) and the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia, held a two-day project titled “Georgia’s Resilience: Theory and Simulation.” The event was tailored specifically for third- and fourth-year undergraduate students.
The project included both theoretical and practical components. On the first day, students attended lectures on NATO–Georgia cooperation (delivered by a representative of the NATO Liaison Office), as well as sessions on the importance of democratic elections and the rule of law. Participants also learned about identity-based disinformation and the role of informational resilience in strengthening the state and society.
On the second day, students took part in a simulation exercise, allowing them to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical context.
