Early Childhood Development School – University of Georgia

Working Group Leaders: Gvantsa Kopaliani, Nana Burduli

Goal:

The goal of the Early Childhood Development School is to provide University of Georgia students with a practice-based learning experience through a series of meetings. Within this framework, students will develop educational toys, tailored to the developmental characteristics of early childhood, intended for parents and others interested in early child development.

Activities:

  • Reviewing information on the specific characteristics of early childhood development

  • Studying the stages of developmental play

  • Creating handmade educational toys based on the features of each play stage

  • Writing instructional guides and informative articles about the educational toys and their importance, aimed at parents and individuals interested in early childhood development
