The Investigative Media Lab of the University of Georgia conducted a certificate training course titled “Fact-Based Storytelling Techniques.”
Course leader: Malkhaz Rekhviashvili, Editor-in-Chief of “FactMeter.”
The course was designed for students interested in the media field and novice journalists who have basic knowledge and/or experience in fact-checking standards.
The main part of the training was dedicated to storytelling techniques, which participants learned through working on real stories using the learn-by-doing principle.
The training sessions took place from October 16 to 21.
