an online masterclass- How to Become an SMM Manager: The Profession, Income, and Your First Client

As part of a collaboration between the University of Georgia, the Career Development and Employment Office, and DoSocial.ge, a social media management agency, an online masterclass titled “How to Become an SMM Manager: The Profession, Income, and Your First Client" will be held on October 27 at 7:00 PM.

During the masterclass, trainer Jaba Jabauri will discuss:

• What is SMM and why does every business need it?
• What does a typical workday look like for an SMM manager?
• A real-life example: How to create a social media post and an advertising campaign.
• How much can an SMM manager earn in Georgia and in the international market?
• How to get started: The first steps and your first client.

The masterclass will be held online via Google Meet and will feature an interactive format.

At the end of the masterclass, students will receive an assignment related to social media management (SMM). As part of the project, the three best-performing students will have the opportunity to participate in a four-week course free of charge. The agency will provide full funding for the course for the three selected students.
