A conference dedicated to International Diabetes Day will be held on November 14, organized by the School of Health Sciences at the University of Georgia in collaboration with the pharmaceutical company "Gefa."

The following speakers will present public reports during the conference:

Elsa Nikolaishvili – Professor, School of Health Sciences

Rusudan Kvanchakhadze – Professor, School of Health Sciences

Representatives from "Gefa" will include:

Nino Meladze, MD – Medical Representative of Gefa

Zurab Kikvidze, MD, MBA – Psychotherapist and Head of the Gefa Project Department

Additionally, two students from the University of Georgia will participate:

Salome Afridonidze – Doctoral Student in the Public Health Program, Endocrinologist

Lika Kekelidze – Undergraduate Student

A blood glucose screening will also be conducted as part of the event.
