The University of Georgia for Teachers

17 March 2026

   The University of Georgia is launching a new project – “University of Georgia for Teachers.”

The project aims to support teachers, strengthen their professional role, and foster partnerships between the university and schools. The first event, “Teachers’ Forum: Transitional Stages in Education,”will serve as a professional platform where teachers working at different levels of education, along with representatives of the education sector, will discuss the key processes that shape a student’s developmental journey.

The forum aims to:

  • Understand and strengthen the connection between different levels of education;
  • Identify challenges present during transitional stages;
  • Share practical experiences and modern approaches with teachers;
  • Create a platform for professional collaboration and knowledge exchange;
  • Strengthen partnerships between schools and the university.

As part of the forum, participants will have the opportunity to listen to expert presentations, engage in thematic workshops, and take part in professional discussions.

The forum reinforces the idea that teachers are central figures in the educational ecosystem, whose influence extends to students’ development, worldview, and vision for the future.
