The workshop - Communication Strategies and the Art of Negotiation

On May 21, a workshop for teachers will be held at the University of Georgia as part of a unified project. The topic of the workshop is: “Communication Strategies and the Art of Negotiation,” which aims to support the teaching and learning process through understanding negotiation in an educational context.

The workshop will focus on the following topics:

• Effective communication strategies, technologies, and principles;
• Alignment/misalignment of strategies with communication goals;
• Interaction between individuals with diverse interests, goals, positions, and competencies;
• Methods and principles of decision-making;
• Behavioral systems, moral and ethical norms, and psychological aspects.

The workshop moderator will be Maia Chkheidze, Head of the Department of European Languages and Philology at the School of Arts and Humanities, University of Georgia.
