On 4th of the June, the School of Social Sciences of the University of Georgia will host a webinar on: Racism, Divided Society, and the Failure of Public Institutes.

Within the framework of the event, speakers will discuss the current event occurring in the U.S and parallels that can be found in Georgia.

At the event, the following issues will be discussed:

• The short history of racism in the U.S and the current status;
• Racism and divided society in the U.S;
• Left-Wing vs Right Wing;
• The phenomena of the American police;
• Why Police overestimates its power;
• Georgian reality and U.S similarities
• Does systematic problems exist in Georgian Police?
• Racism and Nationalism in Georgia- Predicted threads and results;
• Whose interest is to deepen this problem in Georgia and the U.S?
