The Center for Internet Studies and Research functions at the University of Georgia the main goal of which is to develop internet and IT technologies in the country, to control internet regulations and study the existing best practices in this direction, prepare qualified personnel and ensure their professional development on academic level and conduct researches.

Within the framework of the Center, students and young scientists will study the internet, IT technologies; they will study, research and analyze the ongoing processes, prepare relevant recommendations for representatives of both governmental and private sectors or individually private customers.

The Centre was established in partnership with N(N)LE "Internet Development Initiative" and the University of Georgia.
