On establishing the deadlines for administrative registration and the documentation to be submitted for the one-year teacher training program at the University of Georgia for the 2025-2026 academic year

Certification Courses

  1. Based on the results of the teachers' competence confirmation exams, in order to obtain the right to study at the University of Georgia, the candidate for teaching is obliged to:
  • Pass an internal exam in critical writing and thinking and English language specified by the university (if the higher education qualification does not confirm the knowledge of English language).
  • Based on the results of the exams, a list of candidates who will be funded by the state will be determined. A prerequisite for admission to the program is proficiency in English at level B 1/2. Proof of language proficiency can be a diploma supplement indicating the English language studied at the university or, in the absence of such, a university exam to confirm language proficiency.
  1. The directions are defined as follows: Georgian language and literature, English language, history, physics, mathematics, information and communication technologies.
  2. Based on the results of the teacher competency certification exams, administrative registration for the purpose of enrolling teachers in the one-year teacher training program shall be carried out from September 1 to September 12 inclusive.
  3. Administrative registration shall be carried out every day, except weekends, from 10:00 to 17:30 at the following address: Kostava St. 77, Fourth Educational Building.
  4. To pass administrative registration, the teacher is obliged to submit:
  • A copy of the identity document and an electronic version recorded on a disk in Jpg format;
  • Notification of exceeding the threshold of competence confirmation; (with an indication of the identification code).
  • A copy of the identity document (electronic version recorded on a disk);
  • A notarized copy of the bachelor's diploma and an electronic version recorded on a disk in Jpg format;
  • 1 photograph (3X4) and an electronic version recorded on a disk in Jpg format;
  • Fill out the application form at the university.
  1. Registration documents must be submitted on an electronic medium (recorded on a CD).
  2. The exam determined by the university will be held on September 13, at 10:00, at the address: Tbilisi, Kostava St. 77, IV Academic Building, Room #-407.
  3. The academic registration period will be determined as September 16-22, 2025.
