One-Year Teacher Preparation Program – Admission and Registration Information
To be eligible to enroll in the One-Year Teacher Preparation Program, applicants must demonstrate subject-specific teacher competencies based on the results of the relevant examinations.
A prerequisite for admission to the program is English language proficiency at the B1/B2 level. Proof of English proficiency may be provided through a diploma supplement indicating that the applicant has completed an English language course at a university. If no such record is available, the applicant must take a university-administered English language examination to demonstrate the required level of proficiency.
The program is offered in the following subject areas: Georgian Language and Literature, English Language, History, Physics, Mathematics, and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
Based on the results of the teacher competency examinations, administrative registration for admission to the One-Year Teacher Preparation Program will take place from September 1 through September 11, 2026, inclusive.
Administrative registration will be conducted Monday through Friday, from 10:00 to 17:30, at the following address: 77 Kostava Street, 4th Academic Building, Tbilisi.
To complete administrative registration, applicants are required to submit the following documents:
A copy of an identity document and its electronic version in JPG format, saved on a CD;
A certificate confirming that the applicant has passed the required competency threshold, including the identification code;
A notarized copy of the Bachelor’s degree diploma and its electronic version in JPG format, saved on a CD;
One 3×4 cm photograph and its electronic version in JPG format, saved on a CD;
Complete the application form at the University.
All registration documents must be submitted on an electronic storage medium (CD).
The University-administered English language examination will be held on September 14, 2026, at 10:00, at the following address: 77 Kostava Street, 4th Academic Building, Room 407, Tbilisi.
The period for academic registration is set for September 16–21, 2026.
