The purpose of the program!

The program aims to provide graduates with profound knowledge of the complexity of global processes in the context of international politics. Additionally, the program provides graduate students with the ability to evaluate normative mechanisms and effectiveness of international organizations and various institutional frameworks utilized in global politics.



The program is focused on following topics:

  • Global institutional frameworks.
  • Migration and sustainable development.
  • Relevance and practical utility of diplomacy in foreign policy.
  • NATO and EU institutional framework, normative power and policies.
  • Globalization, global media and transparency.

Possible areas of employment:

  • Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces.
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government Office(s).
  • Legislative institutions (incl. Parliament and Committees).
  • State Security Service.
  • The Ministry of Internal Affairs.
  • Intelligence Service
  • International organizations
  • NGOs, analytical centers and think tanks
  • Embassies

Additional information

International applicants must submit English B2 equivalent certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English Exam) or pass the university exam.

Georgian applicants must:

  • successfully pass the Unified Post-Graduate Exam;
  • submit English B2 equivalent certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English Exam) or pass the university exam;
  • successfully pass interview in area of specialization;

The tuition fee for the master's program is 4000 USD.
