On November 6-12, students of the University of Georgia were on a study visit in Strasbourg.

 The visit of the three freshmen of the UG Law School with the highest score: Elene Oragvelidze, Gvantsa Kadagishvili and Ana Cinadze was fully financed by the Law School of the University of Georgia.

 Students had the opportunity to attend the process of the century held by the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights - Ukraine against Russia, as well as the conference "The role of the European Council in the architecture of European politics".

 Strasbourg court judge, Lado Chanturia, held a lecture for students "Structure of the Strasbourg court, admissibility of lawsuits and protection of human rights".

 The educational visit also included visiting the cities of Basel, Stuttgart and Kiel.
