On October 11, the University of Georgia hosted a workshop titled “AI in Labor Relations: Legal Challenges and HR Practices.” The session was led by Nata Sturua, Head of the UG International Business Law Program and Researcher at Interdisciplinary Transformative University Austria (IT:U), and Mariam Janjaria, Head of the UG Human Capital Service and the Master’s Program in Human Capital and Digital Transformation.
The workshop explored European and American practices in the application of artificial intelligence, along with recent developments in EU legal regulation.
Participants discussed the impact of AI on labor relations, ethical challenges, and the transformative changes that technological progress has introduced to the field of human resources.
