The University of Georgia hosted a festival of Turkish culture organized by one of the student clubs – UG Oriental, with support of the UG School of Humanities.
Many interesting events were held within the framework of the festival, such as: Georgian and Turkish folk dance, theatre of shadows, musical performances etc.
The event was attended by the representatives of the Turkish Embassy in Georgia, members of the Turkish Cultural Center and representatives of relevant non-governmental organization.
Guests had the opportunity to taste traditional Turkish cuisine.
