On July 9–10, the University of Georgia hosted educational meetings in Zugdidi and Poti on the topic "AI, New Technologies, and the Professions of the Future."
The meetings were designed for high school students, prospective university applicants, and young people interested in understanding how technology is transforming the world and what skills are essential for success in an increasingly dynamic professional environment.
The sessions were led by Nana Dikhaminjia, Technology Advisor to the Rector of the University of Georgia, who introduced participants to the latest developments in artificial intelligence and discussed how AI has transformed the way knowledge is acquired, processed, and shared.
Special attention was also given to the opportunities created by technology education and to how the University of Georgia's technology and engineering programs are preparing students to meet the demands of the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
As part of the regional meetings, attendees also had the opportunity to meet Mikheil Tsiklauri, Technology Lead at Apple, who shared insights from his experience in Silicon Valley. He spoke about the evolution of the global technology industry, the culture of innovation, and the pathways that turn ideas into global opportunities.
