On Monday, May 14, at 15:00, in the School of Health Sciences and Public Health the Nursing Department organizes a solemn ceremony to mark the International Nurses Day.

The ceremony will be opened by the Director of the School of Health Sciences and Public Health Mrs. Tamar Lobjanidze, welcome speech will be made by the Head of the Nursing Department Prof. Maia Gogashvili.

The ceremony will be attended by the American guest Jean Whalen – Advisor to the Ministry of Defense in the field of medicine, who will also address the participants.

Several students will make presentations on nursing activities.

Students who have participated in charitable blood donation campaign will be awarded certificates.

The ceremony will end with a symbolic festive cake cutting.
