On November 4, the University of Georgia’s Career Development and Employment Office organized a meeting with a representative of McDonald’s Georgia, where students learned about the company’s work environment and career opportunities.
During the meeting, Natia Kelaptrishvili, Recruiting Coordinator in the Human Resources Department at McDonald’s Georgia, discussed the following topics:
Effective CV formats and the key information students should highlight.
The interview process and how to prepare for a successful interview with an employer.
Ways to present and highlight initial work experience.
The meeting also featured University of Georgia students Lika Berashvili, a student in the Architecture program, and Keto Gogoladze, a student in the Art History program. As members of the McDonald’s Georgia team, they shared their personal experiences with fellow students.
“Students often find that work schedules are not flexible enough to accommodate their studies. Such flexibility is often promised but not delivered. However, this is not the case at McDonald’s Georgia, where we actively benefit from this opportunity. It allows me to adjust my work schedule, salary, and other bonus systems to fit my academic schedule. Based on my personal experience, I believe this is a very good, enjoyable, and interesting way to start a career,” Lika Berashvili shared.
McDonald’s Georgia is one of the largest employers in the country, offering valuable career opportunities. Meetings with its representatives help students better understand what companies look for in prospective employees and how to begin a career in a large organization.
During the meeting, students also had the opportunity to register on the company’s job-seeker platform for future employment opportunities.
