Three PHD students were selected to get scholarships of the Volkswagen foundation

Three PHD students were selected to get scholarships of the Volkswagen foundation, in partnership of the University of Georgia and Friedrich Schiller University of Jena. Two from selected three are PHD students of the Law School of the University of Georgia: Ani Nasrashvili and Giorgi Mirianashvili.

PhD scholarship is for students, who are on initial stage of their PhD studies and their doctoral research focuses on the process of internationalization of the Georgian criminal law problems (in the context of Council of Europe, the European Union or the International Criminal Court). The University of Georgia, represented by the Institute of Georgian,German and International Criminal Law is a partner of the project coordinated by Prof. giorgi Tumanishvili and Prof. Bachana Jishkariani.
