International accreditation of one-step Medicine Program - ASIIN
One-cycle English language undergraduate program in medicine of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Georgia has been awarded prestigious international German accreditation by The Accreditation Agency for Study Programmes of Engineering, Information Science, Natural Sciences and Mathematics (ASIIN) and received certificates:
- AMSE/ASIIN accreditation certificate of the one-cycle English language undergraduate program in medicine of the School of Health Sciences
- ASIIN accreditation certificate on compliance of the UG medicine program with the European Qualifications Framework for Level 7 (EQF LLL)
International German accreditation implies that a modified medicine program meets the following criteria
- Global standards for basic medical education of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) 2015
- 2015 ESG - Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area
- ASIIN general criteria 2014
- Subject-Specific Criteria of Technical Committee 14 – Medicine, 2019
- Joint accreditation standards of ASIIN and Association of Medical Schools in Europe (AMSE).
