The University of Georgia held a Commencement Ceremony on July 21, 2016.

The Ceremony began with the welcoming addresses of the Presidents of the University.  This year’s honorary speaker was famous Georgian artistic director – Mr. Levan Tsuladze.  The highlight of the ceremony was conferment of Doctor Honoris Causa upon famous Georgian writer – Mr. Guram Dochanashvili.

The ceremony also included a musical intermission prepared by the UG Music Academy. Well-known young singers performed for the class of 2016.

The event was special in this year’s graduates included the international students for the first time.

The evening ended with beautiful fireworks.
