The Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia identified the winners of the grant for PHD students in 2018 based on assessments of international experts. Totally it was selected 54 projects for funding.  Projects of PHD students of the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Georgia Tutberidze (supervisor- George Tephnadze) and Zurab Vashakidze (supervisor- Roland Duduchava) took first and second place in natural sciences.

Stay informed that Giorgi Tutberidze is a PHD student within the frame of joint Georgian- Norwegian doctoral Program and Zurab Vashakidze had won financial support of DAAD joint fellowship program in 2018 is visiting at present the Technical University of Berlin, Germany for 6 month.
