Presentation of a new legal collection

 

On May 28, the Institute of Georgian, German, and International Criminal Law at the University of Georgia hosted the official presentation of a new legal collection, featuring scholarly works by Georgian and German authors on a range of pressing legal topics:

  •  Official misconduct in Georgian criminal law and the potential influence of EU legislation;
  •  Combating corruption through the criminalization of abuse of power;
  •  Acquisition of property through corrupt transactions;
  •  Criminal law and political protest;
  •  Pre-trial detention and the presumption of innocence;
  •  Prosecutorial discretion in filing charges.

This project is supported by the School of Law of the University of Georgia and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, South Caucasus Office.
