The team of the University of Georgia participated in 30th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Oral rounds of the competition take place annually in Vienna, Austria which gathered as many as 378 teams in the period of March 31 – April 6.

The team of the University of Georgia comprised students: Anastasia Razmadze, Ana Gelenidze, Bedria Jajanidze, Tamar Tsimakuridze, Boburjon Rakhmatov and coaches: Ketevan Givishvili and Tinatin Tavkhelidze.

The team went through lengthy preparations which included drafting written memorandum for Claimant and Respondent, friendly rounds with more than 40 teams from Georgian and foreign Universities.

For the rounds in Vienna the team of the University of Georgia has competed with the teams of the Royal University for Women, University of Cambridge, University of Edinburgh and Universidad Nacional de Colombia."
