On 22th of March, Memorandum of Understanding on educational, research and technological cooperation was signed between The Payame Noor University, represented by Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Asghar Abousaidi and The University of Georgia, represented by its Presidents - Prof. Dr. Giuli Alasania and Prof. Dr. Manana Sanadze.

The Universities agreed to exchange the faculty members, researchers and students; to provide opportunities for professors to participate in conferences, symposia and international meeting of both universities; to collaborate in holding joint scientific, research and technological exhibitions; conducting joint research projects etc. Also Payame Noor University expressed its readiness to admit the UG students to short-term Persian Language Programs.
