Nino Kutsia, who is doctoral student of UG’s School of Law and also invited lecturer, won Volkswagen Foundation 3-year scholarship in order to successfully finish her study. Nino is a second UG’s doctoral student, after Ana Nasrashvili, who won scholarship mentioned above.
Both students work in the field of criminal law. Scientific project of the Volkswagen Foundation, is being accomplished in a collaboration with Jena University. From the Georgian side project is lead by the professors of UG – George Tumanishvili and Bachana Jiskariani.
