On February 17, 2024, a scientific conference was organized by the School of Health Sciences of the University of Georgia and the Institute of Global and European Health Education and Research. The purpose of the conference was to analyze the scientific research potential in the School of Health Sciences and to define and specify priority research directions for 2024-2025.

Among the participants of the conference were the representatives of the academic staff of the school, members of the council of the school and the program development board, doctoral students, master's students and one-cycle program students involved in the research, as well as representatives of relevant university institutions.

Participants of the conference made presentations about the progress of scientific research and the expected/received results. After the presentations, interesting discussions were held, where speakers answered the questions of attendees regarding the presented research.
