Students of the University of Georgia’s Strategic Communications program once again achieved success in the global FuturePR competition, organized by EUPRERA and ICCO.
Among nearly 100 participants from 19 countries, seven UG students were selected as finalists — a result that significantly surpasses other universities. As part of the individual tasks, students developed practice-based PR strategies against disinformation, requiring in-depth research, analytical skills, and industry-standard thinking.
After three days of intensive work, their projects were evaluated by an international jury of leading academics and industry professionals.
The finalists are: Salome Abashidze, Ina Liklikadze, Nia Urushadze, Salome Burdiashvili, Ana Tskhvarishvili, Ia Chunchavashvili, and Salome Turmanidze. In the final stage, they will collaborate with international students on a brief provided by EUPRERA and ICCO.
This achievement highlights the professionalism, global competitiveness, and strong academic preparation of our students.
