On June 16, the University of Georgia hosted the award ceremony for the project"Georgian Voices of World Freedom." The project provided students with an opportunity to explore the idea of freedom in a deeper, more comprehensive, and analytical way.
School clubs and schools from five regions of Georgia participated in the competition, and 33 video submissions successfully advanced through the конкурс stage. Within the framework of the project, 12 winners were announced in special nomination categories, which once again demonstrated the participants’ high creative potential and their thoughtful understanding of the values of freedom.
"I would like to express my special gratitude to the University of Georgia and to every participant of this day, without whom this celebratory event would not have been possible. Dear young people, you are the force that must make the Georgian voice heard across the world. Never remain silent when it comes to your freedom and the future of your country," said the project leader, Elga Bakhturidze.
In the "Real Video " nomination, the first-place winners became Nino Giorgadze and Tekla Mazanashvili, students of Public School No. 29. "We decided to create a video about Iovel Kutateladze, who made a significant contribution to the development of Georgian pharmacy," said Nino Giorgadze.
The concluding part of the project generated particular interest with the nomination "Heroes of the Recent Past," which was created at the initiative of the students themselves. The participants impressively presented the stories of individuals whose dedication, hard work, and resilience have left a significant mark on the recent history of our country.
