The University of Georgia and the Consulting Company GEPRA were first to host PRthon in Georgia.

Within the framework of the competition, Students of the Strategic Communications, Journalism, and Business Administration programs of the University of Georgia worked 24 hours on a communication campaign. The teams were mentored by Natia Glonti, a lecturer at the School of Social Sciences.

The jury consisted of representatives of the following companies: Senior Marketing Manager of Ardi - Ekaterine Khidasheli, founder of Wishlist - Salome Kutateladze, Senior Consultant of GEPRA - Soso Galumashvili and TV presenter and Social Media Manager - Zura Balanchivadze.

Winners of the PRthon were awarded with prizes:

1st Place- 1200 GEL

2nd Place- 800 GEL

3rd Place- 500 GEL
