On 12th-13th of April, School of Law of the University of Georgia with Cologne University, Friedrich Naumann Foundation and Institute of Georgian, German and International Criminal Law hosted yet another conference on: “Georgian-German Law Dialogue- Criminal Law and Human Rights”.

The event was held for the second time and experts from Germany’s top universities have participated: Innsbruck, Nuremberg, Heidelberg, Cologne and Bochum.

Within the framework of the conference, different issues were discussed:

• Europeanization of Law;
• Criminal Evaluation of drug consume in Georgia;
• Protecting personal space in Germany;
• Election offense;
• Transportation crimes;
• Criminal Law and art.

Also, due to contribution in Deeping relations with the University of Georgia in exchange programs and academic conferences Prof. Wasmer was named as Honorary Doctor of UG.
