On October 21, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the University of Georgia and the University of Versailles, according to which a new master's program "European Media and Communication Studies" was developed.

The University of Georgia is the first university in Georgia, where students will have the opportunity to work on various topical issues using European media ethics on a daily basis,

as the knowledge gained under the program will be placed on a social media platform created by Belgian journalist Guillaume Mulaurt.

During the visit, the scientist Dominique Wolton also presented the scientific journal „Hermes“. The University of Georgia will be involved in the scientific activities of the journal and articles will be prepared by both Georgian professors and students.
