The team of School of Law of the University of Georgia (UGLS) became one of the 4 finalist teams in American competition in International Mediation and in final round - beat Ireland’s Queens Belfast University at International Academy of Dispute Resolution- INADR. According to the points gained, UGLS took the 2nd place in the competition.
The University of Georgia appreciates the hard work of the UGLS team members and coaches: Mariam Turmanidze, Lasha Lursmanishvili, Ana Jikia, and Mrs. Nata Sturua and, Director of School of Law of UG Mrs. Ana Khurtsidze.
The School of Law of the University of Georgia supports and finances students to participate in various international competitions and to be trained by Georgian and American couches, which amounts to their success in international competition.
The UG School of Law has an upcoming challenge in summer at the Consensual Dispute Resolution Competition in Austria, where UGLS is already selected among top 22 teams.
