The UG affiliated TOLES Legal English Centre has been awarded a contract by the East West Management Institute (EWMI) for training judges in Legal English, as well as an examination of potential candidates. This is a large contract, potentially for training of 40 judges for up to 5,000 hours. EWMI is implementing human rights and justice support program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) entitled Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia (PROLoG) Activity. The purpose of PROLoG is to strengthen the justice system in Georgia to ensure due process, judicial independence, and the protection of human rights.
