On May 2–3, a training titled “EU Criminal Law – Foundations and Challenges” was held, organized by the Institute of Georgian, German, and International Criminal Law of the University of Georgia. Law students from various Georgian universities participated in the program.
The training was led by Søren Arvig Verdoner, Assistant Professor at Aarhus University (Denmark). In an interactive format, he introduced undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, as well as practicing lawyers, to the foundations and challenges of EU criminal law. He also shared existing practices and his many years of accumulated practical experience.
