On June 12, the University of Georgia hosted the Final Demo Day of UG Innovator, an innovative competition designed for high school students. Ten finalist teams presented their projects to the jury, showcasing creative solutions to real-world challenges.
The winners of the competition were:
1st Place – Signova, Vladimir Komarov Tbilisi Physics-Mathematics Public School N199
2nd Place – Gateway, Tbilisi Public School N32
3rd Place – Blupatch, Cervantes Gymnasium AIA-GESS
The winning teams received cash prizes of GEL 5,000, GEL 3,000, and GEL 2,000 respectively, while mentors and schools were also awarded special prizes and certificates.
UG Innovator is an 8-week educational and entrepreneurial program initiated by the University of Georgia and UG Startup Factory, aimed at fostering innovation, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking among high school students.
