On June 17, the University of Georgia’s Innovation Center – UG StartUp Factory hosted its annual Demo Day and Educational Conference at Holiday Inn Tbilisi, bringing together students, startup founders, business leaders, and innovation ecosystem representatives.
The event opened with keynote talks and a panel discussion on emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, the future of work, and the role of universities in addressing modern challenges.
The second part of the event featured the Demo Day of UG StartUp Factory’s pre-acceleration program, where 12 finalist teams presented their startup ideas to a jury and audience. Five winning teams received a total of GEL 50,000 in funding from the University of Georgia Investment Fund to further develop their projects.
