On December 14, 2017 the University of Georgia hosted distinguished guests - delegation from Israel: Mr. Akram Hasson, who is a a member of Israeli Knesset from Kulanu (“All of Us”) party and the president of the Carmel College, the members of Kulanu party, journalists, and the founder of ‘Israeli House’- Mr. Icik Moshe.

The president of the University of Georgia Giuli Alasania and the president of the Carmel College (Israel ) Akram Hasson signed the MoU between the University of Georgia and the Carmel College. The purpose of the MoU is to develop academic and educational cooperation: exchange programs on the levels of MA and Ph.D., joint research and development projects, conferences, workshops , exchange of: researchers and students, information, teaching materials, technological and scientific publications, etc.
