On 24th of September, Technical Director of ATLAS experiment of European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) - Ludovico Pontecovro visited the University of Georgia.
Within the framework of the meeting achievements of CERN were discussed and the meeting was held with presidents of the University of Georgia and the representatives of School of Science and Technology.
One of the highlight of the meeting was conferment of Doctor Hornois Causa upon Ludovico Pontecorvo.
