Tamar Lakerbaia – Doctor of Law (Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University 2016). Guest lecturer in the University of Georgia where She leads courses on Contract Law and Obligations Based on Law. She is an Associate Professor at International Black See University since 2016 and a guest lecturer at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University since 2012. In 2001-2004 she worked at Ministry of Internal Matters of Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia. In 2005-2006 she worked at Supreme Court of Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia. In 2006-2009 She worked at Tbilisi Appeal Court as an assistant of Judge. In 2011-2015 she worked for legal company Eristavi and Partners as Senior Lawyer. In 2012-2015 She worked at Georgian Institute of Directors as a Corporate Governance Specialist. From 2016 she is a Judge at the Tbilisi City Court Civil Cases Division. In 2015 she was awarded scholarship of Max Planck Institute for International and Comparative Private Law. She is an author of scientific legal articles and joint author of a handbook on Consumer Rights.
